What is #kryptour? Our Kryptonics Ambassadors and Brand activists will be posting photos of the new Kryptonics Star Trac Wheels and/or people riding them in iconic locations around the globe.

Why don't you do the same? Take your Krypto's out for a ride and shoot a photo of them wherever and whenever you feel it is worth sharing with the world. Tourist attraction? Good! Meeting a celebrity? Go for it! Visiting a famous skate spot? Nail it!

Go to Kryptonics.com/kryptour to see the instagram feed, to add to it just Tag #kryptour and always remember to geotag the location while posting on Instagram or Facebook. Best pictures will get props and re-shared by Kryptonics.

THE FORCE

"This ad was the first public unveiling of the wheels that revolutionized the industry. At the time none of our competitors were producing highly resilient wheels. We knew we were onto something when we first developed the super-fast soft wheels. The problem was they were too squishy for pool and park riding. When we applied the high resilience to a much harder wheel the results were equally amazing. Riders could tell instantly that the green wheels were way faster than the competition. Instead of pumping to maintain speed in the bowls they had to back off just to maintain control”

THE FORCE IS COMING

This ad from October 1977 was created as a teaser to introduce the second generation of wheels. Until then, the formulas used were off the shelf urethanes that provided very few improvements in the way of performance or design. The old wheels had square edges that chipped because of the design and because the original urethane formulas lacked what the lab called tear-strength. We went through a lot of prototyping to maximize both resilience and tear-strength. At the time this ad was produced we still didn’t have things dialed in so we opted to go with a teaser ad.
